FEBRUARY 2010 UPDATE!!!!




The foundation has been filled in and leveled!!!



And check out some of the work that we accomplished in December and January...

The 10' deep Cistern for the Clinic was dug by hand.



The 4’ deep footers that were hand dug in November, were filled with concrete and stone, again by hand.



The perimeter of the foundation was built up several feet above ground level to prevent flooding.



Construction continued on the foundation of the East Wing of the medical clinic!




There is still much to be done. But AWI is
committed to bringing a permanent health care infrastructure to Jacmel.
Seeing the foundation for our future clinic makes this project real and brings new energy to the mission! Thanks for all your support & continued efforts!
